Our first few months...

We have been meeting about twice per month and we have also had some opportunities to earn activity patches. Another Troop in our service unit hosted a few events including a Valentine's Day workshop, and an Ice Skating event. It was fun getting together with other troops! There was also a "Daddy Daughter Dance" at our school. We love earning patches!

Investiture Ceremony

We are happy to announce that we are officially Girl Scouts! We had our Investiture Ceremony on 3/14/11. During the ceremony, we recited the Girl Scout Promise, earning us the center petal of the Daisy, and also the Magenta petal of the Daisy, for learning about "Respecting Authority". Then, we received our pins. As with tradition, we received them upside down! Once we have done "3 good things", our parents can turn our pins right side up.
